CEPO To Launch Constructive Dialogue Between WBG State And Civil Society Organizations

- The South Sudan Chairperson for Community Empowerment Program Organization (CEPO), Edmond Yakani is in Western Bahr el Ghazal Ghazal state Wau town to organize a launching of a constructive dialogue between the state government and the civil society organizations in the region.

Speaking to Gurtong Last week on Thursday upon his arrival, Yakani explained the purpose of his visit.

“My visit is mainly to organize a launching of productive constructive dialogue with the state  government and the civil society organization in order to avoid any confrontation approach toward one another because our main objection is a complimentary effort to each other,” said Yakani.

CEPO’s visit to Wau comes a week after the state Governor; Rizik Zackaria Hassan accused the civil society organizations of losing their mandate as developmental organizations and instead involving themselves in politics.
