3 Man Committee From Chamber Of Commerce Juba To Settle Dispute In Aweil Office

An investigative committee formed by the National Chamber of Commerce in Juba is expected to travel to WanyJok, in Aweil East State to settle a dispute that arose at the chamber of commerce office in Aweil last week.

AWEIL, 08 June 2016 [Gurtong]-  Senior government officials disclosed to Gurtong on Monday, that a three-man committee will verify and investigate the conflict which resulted to violence last week.

15 people sustained serious wounds during the Aweil East Traders’ fight which was as a result of disagreement on who should be their leader.

Aweil East Minister of Information, William Ater declined to respond when contacted saying that the government will not interfere in the matter as it will be handled by the chamber of commerce office in Juba.
