Chamber Of Commerce Office Opened In Yirol

A Chamber of Commerce office in Yiorl was officially opened last Friday during a ceremony attended by the Deputy Governor, Simon Aguto Kok, and the Alfred Makur Nguec the Chairperson of the Chamber of Commerce among others.

RUMBEK, 09 June 2016 [Gurtong]- The Deputy Governor called upon the business community to promote peace and harmony and to promote free trade within the counties of Eastern Lakes State.

“Traders should work to encourage free trade that would influence Counties in Yirol.”   

The Chairperson of the Chamber of Commerce, Alfred Makur appreciated the State government for recognizing and an opening an office in the State.

“It is now a duty for all business community to establish cooperation with government be it national or at the State level.”

The chamber of commerce office is meant to increas the confidence of investors in sectors with high potential in the area, such as agriculture, transport and infrastructure.
