BOR, 14 July 2016 [Gurtong] –Witnesses say that the fire began at a shop used for charging electronics before spreading to nearby shops.

Bor’s Mayor, Akim Ajieth Buny said the fire broke out at about 11 PM and continued till midnight when it was finally put off.

One of the shops had charcoal while others had consumable goods.

Akim said that the town council together with the police authority are investigating the matter to find out the real cause of fire.

Among the shops that burnt five belonged to Darfur traders.

In September 2013, more than 10 shops burnt to ashes when fire broke out in the same Marol Market.
