Robbers Break Into Ministry Of Health In Wau

The Director of Administration and Finance in the Ministry of Health in Wau said that robbers broke into the Ministry on Friday night making away with various items.

WAU, 18 October 2016 [Gurtong] –According to Dr. Agok Malual, the robbers stole 120 litres of fuel, two desktops, 18 plastic chairs among others.

“The thieves came and broke into the store, they took 120 litters of fuel and then also they went to the M&E (Monitory and Evaluation Department) in the ministry of health, it is a separate office, also they took two desktop computers, with their accessories,” said Malual.

“They have also taken one D link router for the internet, a controller that is the regulator for the electricity, 18 plastic chairs from the hall and water container, this is the information we got from the watchman,” said Malual.

Malual said the ministry has reported the case to the police and investigations are underway.
“Although we do not have suspects we in the ministry will investigate the watchman and police who were on guard during that day.

Dr. Agok said the robbers came in armed and in military uniforms, adding that it is not the first time for such an incident to occur in the ministry.
