National Minister Of Education Launches Education Forum In Aweil
The national minister of Higher Education and Instruction on Monday initiated an education forum that will run for 3 years in Aweil with a purpose of improving the education sector in greater Northern Bahr al Ghazal.

AWEIL, 18 January 2017 [Gurtong] –The education forum is an association formed by the State government to address challenges hindering free and equal education for all South Sudanese. It's also tasked to report progress and plans for a better education sector.
The event which was launched in Aweil was organized to remind the education sector that the hope of educating every child in South Sudan is still alive.
Speaking during the launch on Monday, Deng Deng Hoc, the National Minister of Education and Instruction, said there are many challenges facing South Sudan adding that access to school is still a major problem.
Deng revealed that 1.8 million children are out of school across the country, which he said will be addressed if the people of South Sudan work hand in hand with the government.
Aweil State Governor, Ronald Ruay encourages parents and guardians to use the opportunity of sending their sons and daughters to school.
