A Call For Justice As Newly Constructed Judicial Office Is Inaugurated In Torit

The Governor of Imatong State, Nartisio Loluke Manir on Thursday inaugurated the newly constructed judicial officials in Torit.

TORIT, 27 January 2017 [Gurtong] –
Loluke pledged to ensure that the rule of law is observed and implemented as he called for an end to impunity in the country.

He accused soldiers of arbitrarily arresting civilians saying the powers of commanders are limited to the army, but not to everybody.

Imatong’s State President of the High Court, His Justice Obac Denyeny declared that his office will not favour anyone found guilty saying cases should be tried without favouritism or fear.

The National Deputy Defense Minister, David Yau Yau who was present during the inauguration said the army must begin to respect the rule of law and stop the harassment of civilians.
