Aweil’s Department Of Immigration To Determine Legal Status Of All Foreigners
The Directorate of Nationality, Passports and Immigration in Aweil State has warned all undocumented foreigners in Aweil State to acquire the right documents or face legal actions.

AWEIL, 07 February 2017 [Gurtong]-In an interview with Gurtong, the Director of Immigration, Colonel Arkangelo Deng said all foreigners living in Aweil State will undergo scrutiny to ascertain that they have all required documents such as work permits, aliens card and valid visas to allow them stay in the State.
Deng pointed out that any foreigner who will be caught without proper documentation will face legal procedures without compromise.
Deng called upon citizens to collaborate with the police and report any undocumented person in the State.
The senior immigration officer was reacting to complaints raised by local residents on the increasing number of foreigners in Aweil State without legal status.
While responding to the allegations, the chairman of the Congolese union in Aweil, Dominque Sycjikr says the order has been well respected by his fellow Congolese under his chairmanship, making it a priority.
