KCB Shuts Down In Rumbek

Kenya Commercial Bank Branch Manager in the defunct Lakes State, John Makoi Marial has announced that the branch has been closed down indefinitely.

RUMBEK, 06 July 2017 [Gurtong] - John Makoi said that clients were given notification in advance before the closure of the bank.

He said clients who still had mmoney in the bank can be able to withdraw from any other KCB branch across the country.

“We are using one network system where the customers who have an account with KCB can access their money where there is a KCB branch” said the branch Manager John Makoi.

Mr. Makoi said the closure of the bank is due to the economic crisis.
KCB began its operation in Lakes State Rumbek in 2006  and has been the only bank in the area.
