Western Lakes State Assembly Chief Whip Dies In Juba
Western Lakes State Legislative Assembly Chief Whip , Mading Malualyom Nhiera who represented Among-piny Constituency last Thursday passed on at Ayii-hospital in Juba.

RUMBEK, 24 September 2017 [Gurtong]- A member of Western Lakes State assembly, Akuac Mayon who represents Maleng-agon constituency in a statement confirmed that the late Chief Whip Mading Malualyom died of hepatitis B and high blood pressure.
“As members of Western Lakes State legislative assembly , we are proud of him because he was the most elderly person and unifying member of SPLM and Agaar community as a whole, he will be missed among us.” said Honorable, Akauc Mayom.
He said that the gathering for the funeral prayers for the body of the late chief whip will first take place in Thong-piny at Luel Aru Bol’s house near chinese friendship Hospital before the body is transported to Rumbek for burial.
Mayom said the late Mading Malualyom had served as an administrator and a strong judge during the liberation war in the bush until 2005 when he was appointed a member of defunct Lakes State legislative assembly.
The late Malualyom had also served as the chairperson for the committee of rule of law in the defunct Lakes State assembly before he became Chief Whip in Western Lakes State legislative assembly.
Malualyom was named as the deputy chairperson of the State Central Peace Committee by the former Governor, Abraham Makoi Bol in 2016 until it was dissolved recently by the Governor of Western Lakes State, Major General, Matur Chut Dhuol.
