Two Hotel Owners Detained In Bor For Unhygienic Practices

Bor, 23January 2019 (Gurtong)- The department of Public Health in Bor Municipal Council has detains two foreign nationals of Sunlight and other two local hotels for unhygienic practices.

The director for public health at Bor Municipal council, John Makuei Alier, says his office yesterday witnessed at Sunlight Hotel random
throwing away of used condoms and reckless swirling of sewage water.

Makuei said the Sunlight Hotel manager is being detained for the random throwing away of used condoms in the hotel and he will be arrange in
court this week.

“It’s our role as residents of Bor town to protect our people and environment, keeping the town clean should be a role for all of us”, Alier told Gurtong on Wednesday Morning.

He added that it’s not the only hotel where hygiene is not well practice but also many other hotels jeopardize the hygiene, except few.

Makuei also cautioned the public on issues concerning health such as selling and buying milk in plastic bottles because they might have been
recycle from those with infectious diseases like TB, hepatitis and many others.
